3 DAYS TSONJIN BOLDOG & KHUKH LAKE

Tsonjin Boldog, located an hour’s drive from Ulaanbaatar, is the world’s largest equestrian statue. This is the place where Chinggis Khaan had found a golden whip which explained on the legend. A 40m high statue of Chinggis Khaan built on horseback covered by stainless steel and surrounded by 36 columns. Visitors can take an elevator to the viewing deck on the horse’s head and look out on the expansive Mongolian steppe

Day 3. Ulaanbaatar

Day 1. Terelj National park. After meeting at the hotel in Ulaanbaatar, we will drive to the Terelj National Park. The park lies at 1600 meters high and offers great opportunities for hiking, horse, camel and yak riding and rafting and rock climbing. The park is over 1.2 million acres large. Explore amazing egg-shaped granite rock formation and beautiful wildlife and Alpine flowers. Visit Turtle Rock and Aryabal Meditation Monastery in the mountain. Overnight at the ger camp

Day 2. Tsonjin Boldog & Khukh lake – We will drive to the Khukh lake via Tsonjin Boldog. This is the place where Chinggis Khaan found a golden whip which brought him fortune. We will visit 40m high equestrian statue of Chinggis Khaan covered by stainless steel and surrounded by 36 columns. The visitors can walk through the mane of the horse to see the panoramic view of the surrounding area. After lunch, we will drive to Khukh lake which lies in the Khar Zurkh Mountain in Tsenkhermandal soum of Khentii province. Khukh lake is a beautiful fresh watered lake wich is located 1675m above the sea level surrounded by forested mountain. Overnight at the ger near the lake.

Day 3. Ulaanbaatar. After breakfast, we will ride a horse for couple of hours then we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Picnic lunch on the way. We will drop you at your hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
