Terms and Condition

Booking:
When you book a tour or other travel arrangements our contract with you takes an action when we you send a written confirmation to info@amtours.mn or fax 976-11-70009282. Bookings and enquiries must be in writing. Once contract is made we are responsible for providing you with the tour you have booked and you are responsible to pay us for it, in each case subject to terms and conditions.

Tour Price:
All tour prices are in US dollars and are based on tariffs and rates of currency exchange in effect at the time of printing.

Payments:
Payment can be made by bank wire transfer. Bank details will be given to you in advance with our invoice.

• The Agent or traveler shall pay 70% of the total amount for the tour at least 30 days prior to the starting date of the services and another 30% after the date of services.
• The invoiced amount of each tour should be paid via a bank transfer to the account of the Supplier. The Agent bears all banking and postal expenses.
• The payments shall be made in US dollars or in Euros. The Parties may choose other payment methods. But the agreement should be made in written form.
• Absolute Mongolia Tours will fax monthly invoices 30 days before the tour starts, and the amount invoiced will be due by then.

Changes 
If you want to change any of the details of your booking after we have sent you confirmation we will do our best to support you. You must confirm any change in writing to us. We recommend that letters are sent by e-mail. If we are able to make the change there will be a charge. If you wish to make any changes whole on tour /e.g. upgrading your accommodation and staying alone in a Ger in the tourist camp/ all requests are subject to availability and any extra fees must be paid.

Cancellations
Cancellation will be calculated as set out below and will be notified to you by mail or e-mail within a week of cancellation. Loss of monies paid applies to all cancelled reservations. The date of trip cancellations is the date on which the written cancellation is received by Absolute Mongolia Tours. The loss of monies paid is as follows per person:

• 15-30 days prior to tour start -10% of total package price
• 8-14 days prior to tour start -30% of total package price
• 3-7 days prior to tour start -80% of total package price
• 2 arrival day-100% of total package price

No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. Refunds will be at the discretion of Absolute Mongolia Tours if you are forced to involuntarily leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized

Late Bookings:
Last minute bookings (within 30 days prior to start of tour) are subject to availability. Bookings made 16-30 days prior to start of tour will be assessed a $40 per person surcharge. Bookings made 15 or less days prior to start of tour will be assessed a $60 per person surcharge.

No Show:
In the event a client or group is “no show”, no refund in full or in part will be given for services in the program not utilized.

Refunds:
After start of tour, no refund, in full or in part, will be given for services included in the program that are not utilized.

Absolute Mongolia Tours will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the client/s as a result of the foregoing causes over which it has no control, such as war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather and act of government.

Absolute Mongolia Tours will not compensate for program changes caused by delayed air or train services, airline timetable changes or force majeure (acts of war, strikes, catastrophes, etc)

Hotel Accommodations:
The tour package price is based on two adults sharing one twin bedded room, double occupancy. A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single supplement rate additionally. A single room is subject to availability based on prior request at additional cost. When the hotel listed in the brochure is not available, the similar category hotel will be substituted without prior notice.

Baggage:
Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout. Excess baggage charge and insurance is at the owner’s responsibility. When traveling outside of Ulaanbaatar, 1 carry-on luggage per person is allowed, the excess baggage will be stored in the hotel.

Shopping:
Absolute Mongolia Tours does not accept any responsibility for value, validity, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased on the tour or for any mailing, freight or shipping arrangements. Any after sales correspondence must be between the customer and the shops.

Local Laws:
All participants in tours operated by us are expected to obey the laws and regulations of Mongolia and any failure to do so will relieve Absolute Mongolia Tours of all obligations that it may otherwise have under the contract.

Complaints:
If a client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, the client must bring it to the attention of tour leader or other representative at the time so they may use their reasonable endeavors to rectify the situation. Failure to complain at the time will affect the client’s ability to claim compensation from Absolute Mongolia Tours. Should the problem remain unsolved a complaint must be made in writing to Absolute Mongolia Tours within 28 days of the completion of tour.

Absolute Mongolia Tours will not pay any compensation if there has been no fault on the part of the company or its partners and the reason for the failure in the tour was the client’s fault, or due to the actions of someone unconnected with the tour arrangements, or if the circumstances could not have been reasonable foreseen or avoided by the company or its partners.
